Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Secondary Investment Group as a Fundraising Analyst/Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of fundraising processes, liaising with portfolio managers and sales teams, and providing sales with necessary tools and information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing fundraising processes, including coordinating with portfolio managers and sales teams
  • Liaise with legal, finance, and operations teams to deliver materials and respond to requests for proposals
  • Manage fundraising activity across distribution channels, including managing capital formation activities and updating fund marketing materials
  • Provide sales with necessary tools and information, including content, customized materials, and education on the product
  • Work closely with investment teams to provide communication and updates internally and externally during fundraising processes
  • Perform quantitative analyses and research to support fundraising efforts
  • Serve as a resource for the broader Neuberger Berman sales teams for Secondary related matters
  • Handle logistics related to closing, including coordination with sales, legal, subscription, and clients
  • Organize and coordinate onsite meetings for clients
  • Manage Secondary platform data, track and maintain LP commitment data, and track investment activity and performance across products
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in economics or finance
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant professional experience for an analyst and 3-4 years for an associate
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Ability to multi-task, team-player attitude, and a desire to work on a wide range of projects and manage them effectively
  • Strong organizational skills, remarkable attention to detail, and strong judgment, maturity, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
  • Initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving and to be resourceful
  • Exhibits strong dedication to the job and takes ownership of deliverables
Compensation

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$140,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
