About the Role

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Community Fundraising to join our Marketing and Communications team. This critical role will play a key part in the execution and growth of our Marketing and Communications strategy, reporting to the Assistant Director, Community Fundraising.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase awareness and engagement of BCRF's peer-to-peer fundraising program, working closely with the Assistant Director, Community Fundraising and the Independent Events team.
  • Conceptualize and implement online revenue strategies to galvanize the breast cancer community in supporting research, including the development of marketing assets and materials to promote BCRF's peer-to-peer platform.
  • Assess and optimize BCRF's current fundraising platform (Classy) to ensure user experience enhancements and proper data management.
  • Engage corporate partners and build co-branded campaign pages on the Classy platform to boost peer-to-peer fundraising among employee populations.
  • Develop retention and communication strategies for peer-to-peer programs, including online, mobile, and social media platforms.
  • Partner with the Development, Events, and Database departments, as well as BCRF's digital agency partners, to ensure peer-to-peer programs effectively relay the BCRF brand message and provide online donors with an optimal cross-BCRF experience.
About You

We are seeking a self-starter with 5-7 years of experience in peer-to-peer, fundraising, development, community activism, or event planning. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, business, public administration, or a related field. They will be proficient in reporting and communicating analytical insights, have a genuine interest in women's health, social activism, and community building, and be able to thrive in a high-paced, highly creative environment.
