Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable Assistant Controller to support the Financial Services Department's operations.

  • Collaborate effectively with accounting personnel to achieve departmental objectives and deadlines.
  • Assess, implement, and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Manage semi-monthly payroll processing for designated facilities.
  • Work alongside accounting teams and community partners to prepare and submit recredentialing applications as mandated by various payors.
  • Assist with tax-related inquiries and requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial statement preparation, and payroll processes.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of financial accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with representatives from diverse areas within the organization.
  • Experience in public accounting and the healthcare sector is preferred.
