Biomedical Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Department Manager to join our team at US Med-Equip. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of medical equipment used in hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement standardized compliance policies and procedures aligned with ISO quality objectives and medical equipment maintenance regulations.
- Review audit findings and prepare reports with recommended action plans, including technical process changes and KPIs.
- Lead meetings and coordinate with various departments on implementation and compliance of safety and quality assurance measures.
- Identify educational opportunities to remain up-to-date with equipment maintenance program requirements and standards.
- Develop expertise and knowledge of regulatory compliance standards in medical equipment maintenance and overall management.
- Actively work with team members to ensure documentation practices align with business processes for medical equipment maintenance and support standards.
- Develop mechanisms to routinely review processes for optimal effectiveness.
- Manage projects and initiatives related to medical equipment service and support.
- Undergraduate or advanced degrees in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Five years of medical equipment service and/or healthcare technology management experience.
- Experience with audit action plan implementation for medical devices in service organizations and/or hospital settings preferred.
- Experience developing business processes solutions in a complex technology environment preferred.
