Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Process Monitoring Engineer who will collaborate with various operational teams to enhance the performance and continuous improvement of our production units.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-the-spot process evaluations as required by operational demands and market dynamics.
- Assist operations by diagnosing unit challenges and engaging in significant unit overhauls.
- Participate in teams focused on best practices and benchmarking to enhance safety and profitability.
- Collaborate with the process group to support operational planning and maintain economic models for the ethylene unit.
- Potentially lead incident investigations as assigned.
- Work alongside the corporate technical team to devise solutions for plant challenges.
- Support the maintenance of site mass and energy balances.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, primarily in a chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively with operations, colleagues, and management.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities related to unit operations.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication to liaise with various plant personnel.
- Capable of working independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an olefins or refining facility.
- At least 5 years of process engineering experience in a chemical or petrochemical setting.
- Familiarity with Chevron Engineering Standards and LP modeling.
