Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist 2 to join our team at Marion County. As a key member of our Crisis and Diversion team, you will play a critical role in providing assessment and treatment services to individuals and families with complex needs and diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and treatment services to individuals and families, including groups, to address mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Conduct crisis assessments and interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in crisis.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive services and support to clients.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with severe mental illness and substance use disorders.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
