Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Marion County Health & Human Services. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide behavioral health services to individuals with complex needs and diagnoses, working collaboratively with our Enhanced Care Services and Enhanced Care Outreach Services programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and treatment of individuals and families, including groups, and crisis assessment and intervention services.
  • Develop and implement specific services in the community, including intensive services, to support individuals in reaching their recovery milestones.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide behavioral health services, including case management, group therapy, and skills training.
  • Work under the supervision of a supervisor who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews the results obtained for overall effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon.
  • At least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field for Mental Health Therapist 2.
  • Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) within the first 30 days of employment.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of $28.67 - $38.42 per hour for Mental Health Therapist 1 and $34.78 - $46.60 per hour for Mental Health Therapist 2.
  • A wage enhancement of $3.00 will be added to the hourly wage as compensation for hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
