Job Summary

Marion County is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist 2 to join our team. As a key member of our Adult Behavioral Health team, you will provide assessment and treatment services to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement safety plans to mitigate risk
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to the Psychiatric Security Review Board
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • At least one year of post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field
  • Strong knowledge of community mental health concepts and treatment protocols
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, individuals, and their families
