The OpportunityHighnote is at the forefront of connecting merchants and enterprises to a cutting-edge virtual payments platform. Our goal is to facilitate the digital transformation of businesses through innovative payment solutions. Our infrastructure will expand globally in the coming years to meet the increasing demands of our clients. The core infrastructure team is responsible for managing GCP, AWS, and various third-party cloud services, encompassing all aspects of computing, storage, networking, container orchestration, and infrastructure pipelines. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security, stability, and performance of our services in a fast-paced and collaborative setting.
What You'll Be Doing- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a secure, stable, and cost-efficient infrastructure platform that enables rapid iteration.
- Build and maintain our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and implement effective monitoring and alerting systems for our infrastructure.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure or software engineering.
- Proficient in working with GCP or AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or Istio.
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages, preferably Java or Python.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a distributed systems context.
- Experience in the financial technology sector.
- Expertise in cloud networking.
- Familiarity with GCP technologies such as Spanner, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Experience in developing large-scale distributed systems.
