Job Summary
Community Passageways is seeking an experienced Program Director, LEAD to oversee the development and implementation of innovative harm reduction strategies in King County. The successful candidate will lead a team of case managers and screening coordinators to provide clinically oriented support services to clients with behavioral health conditions and involvement in the criminal justice system.

About the Role
This leadership position requires strong clinical expertise, experience working with high-acuity populations, and effective management skills to drive program outcomes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community justice and have a proven track record of developing and implementing trauma-informed care approaches. They will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Community Passageways' CEO, as well as external partners, such as law enforcement and local organizations, to ensure seamless service delivery and positive client outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities
* Oversee a team of professionals providing case management services, outreach, and advocacy to individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use disorders
* Develop and implement clinically oriented treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, addressing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
* Foster relationships with external partners, including law enforcement, prosecutors, and community organizations, to enhance referrals and service coordination
* Collaborate with the CP LEAD Team to develop culturally responsive supports and services that address systemic racism and bias related to race, homelessness, and behavioral health status
* Participate in meetings, maintain confidentiality, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
* Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field with relevant clinical experience and supervision credentials
* Strong clinical training and expertise in mental health disabilities, substance use disorder, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
* Supervision experience managing a caseload and case conferencing to help teams coordinate and provide linkages to needed services
* Experience navigating and/or working with or in the criminal legal system, including de-escalation training and demonstrated ability to work effectively with participants displaying a wide range of behaviors

Preferred Skills/Experience
* Personal experience of recovery around gun violence
* Ability to implement harm reduction techniques within a participant-centered framework, e.g., motivational interviewing, trauma informed/trauma responsive care, and low-barrier assistance
* Excellent oral and written communication, especially proactive communication
* Proficiency in mainstream office software such as G Suite, Microsoft Office, email, and calendar scheduling tools, and project management software
