Job Description

The University of Washington is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager - MSW Program Director to join their team. This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative and strategic support to the faculty, staff, admissions office, and student support services that interact with the MSW program.

Position Purpose

The Program Manager - MSW Program Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the UW School of Social Work MSW program, including working closely with the MSW Program Director to identify emerging concerns and ensure that academic structures and policies are implemented in the MSW program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and take lead for MSW program committee meetings, ensuring representation of required PC members, taking and disseminating notes from PC meetings, and other tasks as required.
  • Monitor program compliance with CSWE's Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards; serve as first point of contact for faculty and staff when conducting course competency assessment for MSW courses.
  • Develop and implement student-centered programming as needed, in partnership with other student support programs in the school.
  • Assist Admissions Director and faculty in efforts to recruit a diverse pool of applicants for the program.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Higher Education or Related field, and three years of work experience in project or program management, and/or event planning, higher education administration, advising or student support.
