The Business Development Representative is a key member of the Health First team, responsible for driving strategic growth and market development initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with providers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Growth Planning
- Create and implement annual strategic growth plans to drive budgeted growth objectives and align with Health First's IDN strategy.
- Market Analysis and Intelligence
- Analyze and interpret market utilization data to identify sales priorities and ensure alignment with the vision and strategic goals of the Service Line.
- Provider Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, providers, and staff to understand their needs and preferences.
- Complete face-to-face sales meetings and follow-up meetings to close business and identify opportunities for growth.
- Issue Resolution and Communication
- Manage issues in an objective fact-gathering manner to ensure internal constituents receive adequate information to act on.
- Develop and communicate messages on behalf of Health First regarding provider issues.
- Market Intelligence and Reporting
- Document contacts, provider visits, issue resolution, and market intelligence into CRM.
- Prepare and present monthly sales dashboards to identify trends, opportunities, and obstacles to retention and new business growth.
- Process Improvement and Collaboration
- Participate in and lead provider-related process improvement projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Director and other stakeholders to drive strategic growth initiatives.
