Job Summary

The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in the food service operations, engaging in essential tasks related to food portioning, serving, and maintaining cleanliness of dining equipment and areas. Adhering to specialized cleaning protocols and waste management practices as mandated by health regulations is crucial. The position demands a commitment to uphold a professional service standard while executing daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in various food service tasks, including preparation, packaging, and delivery of meals.
  2. Ensure all food service areas are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with management directives and regulatory standards.
  3. Monitor and document the temperature of food items and storage environments, such as refrigerators and freezers.
  4. Prepare food trays for immediate service or proper storage in refrigerated units.
  5. Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
  6. Receive and organize food supplies, equipment, and utensils in designated storage areas.
  7. Handle cash transactions as needed.

Work is primarily conducted in a culinary environment, with a strong emphasis on meeting job-specific responsibilities and adhering to organizational policies and procedures. The outlined duties are representative of the typical functions necessary for successful job performance.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
