Job Summary

As a Foodservice Worker, you will engage in essential tasks related to the preparation, serving, and sanitation of food items and dining areas. Adhering to specific cleaning protocols and waste management practices mandated by health regulations is crucial. Your role will ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout your duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute various assignments within the foodservice department.
  • Responsibilities may encompass food preparation, packaging, and delivery tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food service areas as directed by management and health authorities.
  • Monitor and document the temperatures of food items and storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
  • Arrange food trays over warming stations for immediate service or store them in refrigerated units.
  • Accurately measure and weigh ingredients as required.
  • Receive and organize food supplies, equipment, and utensils in designated storage areas.
  • Handle cash transactions as necessary.
  • Interpret patient meal tickets and confirm patient identifiers, recipes, and ingredient labels.
Work is generally conducted in a clinical setting. You will be responsible for fulfilling all job-specific duties and adhering to organizational policies and procedures. The details provided in this profile are not exhaustive but represent the typical responsibilities expected for this position.

Position Details

  • New hires may qualify for a Sign-on Bonus up to $1,250.
  • Availability to work between the hours of 5:30 am - 7:30 pm is required.
  • Weekend and holiday shifts are part of the rotation.
  • Previous experience in food preparation, serving, cleaning, or customer service is preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is preferred.
