PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Responsible for managing and sustaining air travel inventory for passengers enrolled in the Air program. Serve as the main point of contact for all customer-related inquiries regarding the standards, execution, and delivery of the air travel program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to incoming inquiries to assist guests and travel partners in securing air travel through airline block space or free sell, while following cost guidelines.
  • Handle airline schedule modifications, bookings, and ticketing.
  • Oversee air travel reservations to ensure accuracy and adherence to cost guidelines. Process and amend changes, cancellations, and ticketing as necessary.
  • Provide support and coordination for air reservations to internal teams and clients.
  • Conduct quality control checks prior to sailings to confirm flights are booked according to sailing requirements.
  • Assist with reservations for disrupted services due to trip delays, weather conditions, or delayed ships.
  • Facilitate air deviation requests, including preferences for specific airlines, flights, and dates.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's Degree, Travel Agency School Certification, or a comparable combination of relevant experience and background.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of experience with a cruise line/tour operation and/or airline reservations. Familiarity with airline policies, procedures, and contract pricing is preferred.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in the English language.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively assist passengers and convey relevant information to management and related departments.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to maintain customer file records.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with others.
  • Proficient in PC usage with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with the Amadeus program preferred for team members associated with the NCL brand.
  • Experience with the Sabre program preferred for team members associated with the OCI/RSSC brands. Flexibility regarding peak-time work requirements is essential.
