Position Overview

The Accounts Officer plays a crucial role in managing the daily financial transactions of the hotel. Responsibilities include overseeing cash collections, supplying change to cashiers, executing daily bank deposits, and preparing comprehensive cash reports.

  • Responsible for the daily reconciliation of credit card transactions across hotel services.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of Food & Beverage, Banquet, and Conference & Events checks against Point of Sale reports.
  • Timely processing and updating of credit card accounts, with daily reconciliation to address discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare monthly credit card reconciliation reports by verifying settlements with banks and card processors.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI standards in all credit card processes and documentation.
  • Verify accuracy in daily cash collections and postings.
  • Conduct daily cash reconciliation.
  • Manage petty cash and casual labor collections efficiently.
  • Oversee the operation of the Launderette room coin changing machine.
  • Conduct surprise cash counts on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate with banks to resolve any credit card disputes or chargebacks.
  • Assist in monthly stocktaking for Food & Beverage.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in an Accounts Officer role or similar.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proficient in Excel, including financial formulas and spreadsheet creation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Position open exclusively to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
