Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business objectives and growth. Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Accounting Operations
    • Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
    • Implement and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Financial Analysis and Insights
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Capital Structure and Risk Management
    • Manage the company's capital structure, including debt, equity, and cash flow. Lead capital-raising efforts and manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Financial Due Diligence and Integration
    • Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Act as the primary liaison with the Board of Directors, investors, and external auditors. Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives effectively.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role.
  • Strong background in environmental services or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • CPA, CFA, or similar certifications are preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to drive business growth.
  • Excellent leadership abilities.
