Teaching Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified teacher to fill a Special Education position at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special needs to achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals.
About the Job
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with students in a variety of settings, including one-to-one, small group, and whole-class instruction. You will also collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), behavior intervention plans, and other strategies to support students with special needs.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Plan and deliver instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Use data analysis to inform instructional decisions and drive student progress
- Have a bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field, and North Carolina Teaching License and Certification in Special Education
Salary and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
