Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

About the Role:
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals with their daily routines, including meal preparation and medication management.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities and events.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
