Join Our Team as a Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

About the Role

The Direct Support Professional will provide person-centered support to our clients, promoting their health, safety, and well-being. This includes assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and providing transportation as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met.
  • Provide transportation for clients, using company vans as needed.
Requirements
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
  • First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a California Driver's License.
  • Candidate must pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.
