Job Title: Direct Support Professional

At AMA Support Services LLC, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in creating a culture of excellence, compassion, and integrity in the delivery of services to our individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the comfort, safety, and general supervision of individuals in both the home and community.
  • Provide home management services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and medication administration.
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Deliver Community Participation Services as prescribed in the individual's Individual Support Plan (ISP).
  • Develop a positive working relationship with the individual's support team.
  • Ensure all service records and company documentation are complete, thorough, accurate, and compliant with all applicable regulations and requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Work experience as a caregiver (professional or personal) preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with others.
  • Proficient technology skills, including use of smartphones, laptops, and web-based databases.
Working Conditions:
  • Hours and weekly schedule dictated by current tasks and program needs.
  • Work on holidays, during inclement weather, overnight, and on weekends may be required.
  • Frequent lifting, stretching, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and other physical exertion while assisting individuals in service.
