POSITION: LEAD MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS ENGINEER

As part of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, the Lead Manufacturing Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in facilitating cost analysis, overseeing new product introductions, and spearheading standardization and innovation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with the industrial engineering team to ascertain equipment specifications
  • Drafting technical specifications for bespoke assembly machinery
  • Managing projects related to equipment installation
  • Creating and maintaining documentation of standards for essential equipment
  • Traveling to support manufacturing facilities, averaging 25% with peaks at 50%

Your Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in Industrial Engineering
- Project management experience
- Proficient in technical writing
- Familiarity with AutoCAD LT / 2D
- Experience with assembly equipment such as build pallets, conveyors, and end-of-line testers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Just-In-Time (JIT) seating or automotive sectors
- Knowledge of industrial control systems like PLC
- Ability to define assembly processes
- Experience with engineering/process change control
- MOST trained
- Proficient in line balancing and standard work instructions
- Familiarity with APQP and PFMEA
