Lead Engineer for Interior Sensing Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect to join our Interior Sensing Systems team at Magna International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of next-generation fusion Interior Sensing Features, including Occupant Monitoring and Child Detection.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and profile new and existing sensor technologies to identify their potential uses for our Interior Sensing features.
- Contribute to the physical architecture by modeling the sensors in SysML.
- Develop modular logical architecture that incorporates multiple sensing systems.
- Develop clean slate functional architecture that incorporates multiple systems based on Use Cases.
- Identify synergies with existing system architectures to maximize architecture re-use.
- Work with system architects of underlying systems to extend their architectures with newly identified feature functionality.
- Minimum of a BS in an engineering field.
- Strong experience in clean slate architecture development.
- Expert in model-based Systems Engineering (SysML).
- Strong technical understanding of sensors and embedded system architecture.
- Experience with computer vision-based systems.
- Several years of experience leading architecture development.
- Strong understanding of feature development cycle (requirements/validation/SW test/embedding).
- Requirements authoring experience.
- Experience with Enterprise Architect tool.
- Experience with Codebeamer tool.
