Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in:

  • Evaluating system requirements provided by clients (OEMs) and participating in discussions to clarify and enhance these specifications.
  • Developing comprehensive system specifications for innovative products.
  • Ensuring compliance with Functional Safety standards and implementing ASPICE processes throughout the design phase of body electronics products.
  • Monitoring design, testing, validation, and procedural activities to ensure successful completion throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to prototype release.
  • Creating system test specifications to verify system requirements utilizing advanced communication and diagnostic tools such as Vector and Intrepid (e.g., CANoe, NeoVI, Vehicle Spy).

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronics, specifically in ECU Hardware or Systems Design.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in analyzing or drafting system design requirements using tools such as PTC Integrity, DOORS, or Word.
  • Experience with ASPICE and/or Functional Safety (ISO 26262) processes, with involvement in 1-2 projects during the product development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of automotive testing tools and experience with body electronics products (e.g., PaaK, PEPS, BCM).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and technologies.
  • Understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technologies.
