Estimator in Training Job Description

The Estimator in Training works closely with our experienced Estimators to learn the skills and knowledge required to effectively diagnose and prepare estimates for repair in an accurate, thorough, and profitable manner according to insurance partner and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistent execution of our WOW plan.
  • Communicate the value we provide to customers, resulting in a high closed sales ratio.
  • Work closely with the repair team to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
  • Participate in and contribute to regular production meetings.
  • Assist insurance adjusters with damage reports and provide service to insurance claim re-inspectors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Must currently possess or successfully complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience and photo-imaging software experience.
