This position as a Project Lead in Structural Engineering presents a range of intriguing and challenging tasks in structural engineering, offering an excellent pathway for career progression. In this role, you will lead a team of structural engineers, engage with clients and professionals from other disciplines, and manage a variety of exciting projects. This position will enable you to:
  • Utilize your expertise in materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design to successfully complete assigned tasks.
  • Engage in diverse projects for various clients and interact with them as necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of design calculations, specifications, reports, and other deliverables while assisting designers with drawing development.
  • Guide and mentor others in producing high-quality engineering deliverables.
  • Conduct structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations using advanced computer tools.
  • Travel to client and vendor locations for design reviews and to construction sites for coordination and verification of designs.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience as part of a project team in the design and analysis of industrial, heavy commercial, or nuclear facility structures.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.
  • Familiarity with design codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
Valued, but Not Required:
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in on-site construction support.
