About the Role

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events and programs that build connections within our military communities, create memorable experiences for residents, and provide rewarding opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate all phases of the event planning process, including research, design, planning, coordination, and evaluation.
  • Manage and execute multiple events simultaneously, including timelines, production schedules, risk assessment, creative design, vendor/venue management, event team coordination, and logistics management.
  • Execute on and off-site events, including event team coordination, event set-up, day-of hosting, event and risk brief, managing logistics throughout the event, and event tear down.
  • Oversee, review, and process assigned accounting and financial matters based on assigned event budgets.
  • Support District Teams within the event planning process to ensure the success of the event experience and entire planning process.
  • Develop, design, and create effective and comprehensive marketing plans and materials to market events and programs.
  • Collaborate with like-minded military organizations, agencies, and businesses on partnership and/or sponsorship opportunities to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Maintain accurate event folders and records both online and in paper form and submit required items by deadlines.
Requirements
  • Event planning experience, preferably in recreation, hospitality, marketing, communication, or related fields.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, website Content Management Systems, Google applications, and graphic software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interaction skills with internal/external customers.
  • Excellent project planning, organization, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet operational and event objectives.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities.
