Position Overview:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Junior Private Client Financial Consultant in the Wealth and Investment Management sector as part of Wells Fargo Advisors. This role is essential for those seeking to develop their career in financial advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the Wells Fargo Advisors training program aimed at achieving personal, professional, and organizational objectives in client service and financial management within the Private Client Advisory domain.
  • Analyze fundamental client objectives and risk appetite, assess investment profiles, and evaluate financial requirements related to lower-risk assignments and deliverables.
  • Receive guidance from seasoned financial advisors while exercising discretion within established program parameters, enhancing understanding of tools, resources, and mentorship to elevate service quality.
  • Provide financial insights, investment profiles, and client financial requirements to senior financial advisors.
  • This position involves client interaction and responsibilities that may include assessing needs and directing clients interested in secured products to a specialized team member. The role includes assisting clients without processing applications or negotiating terms of secured transactions.
Qualifications Required:
  • At least 6 months of experience in Customer Service, Sales, or Relationship Management, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • FINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or recognized equivalents).
  • Experience in financial services.
  • Background in client services.
  • Over 6 months of experience in client or sales services.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in sales or sales support.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Established connections within the local market.
Job Expectations:
  • Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) roles must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification standards and adhere to Wells Fargo policies. This includes financial responsibility, character assessment, and background checks.
  • In the U.S., obtaining and maintaining appropriate FINRA licenses is mandatory for continued employment in this role. Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) examinations must be completed within a specified timeframe following employment commencement.
  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion of a background check.
