Role Summary

We are currently in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Tax Senior Accountant. This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to advance their careers in public accounting. Our tax team members are deeply involved in the preparation and compliance of various tax filings, including corporate, partnership, individual, estate, and trust returns. Additionally, they engage in diverse business and tax-related matters, encompassing international tax, research, and value-added consulting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns at the federal, state, and local levels for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance initiatives for a diverse client base.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to deliver strategic tax guidance and solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure precise and timely tax submissions.
  • Assist in tax audits and address inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, delivering outstanding service.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior tax accountants and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, particularly in tax.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in CCH software Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relationship building.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability to manage a dynamic environment and meet deliverables, especially during peak periods.
