Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Construction Manager to join our team in Albany, NY. As a key member of our construction management team, you will assist with project control activities, including project document management, RFI and IB tracking, and contract document review.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project control activities, including project document management, RFI and IB tracking, and contract document review
  • Assist in changes to scope, prepare estimates, and negotiate new project scope
  • Perform walkthroughs with contractors as needed
  • Assist with monitoring contract implementation, quality of work, and materials
  • Inspect task execution in accordance with plans and specifications
  • Maintain weekly and monthly project work plans for scope, budget, schedule, and safety objectives
  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes

Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years of experience on smaller projects valued above $1 million
  • Basic knowledge of RFI tracking, contract documents, scheduling, and payments review
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and scheduling applications
