Role Summary

We are in search of a motivated and enthusiastic Tax Senior Accountant who is eager to advance their career in public accounting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for various entities.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure precise and timely tax submissions.
  • Assist in tax audits and address inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service.
  • Guide and mentor junior tax accountants and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, particularly in tax.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in CCH software Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering client relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability to manage a dynamic work environment and meet all project deadlines.
  • A positive attitude that contributes to the firm's culture and openness to change.
