We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Career Group. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing payroll, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Manage payroll for both salaried and hourly employees on a semi-monthly and weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure company policies comply with the latest labor laws and maintain FSLA standards, minimizing the risk of non-compliance.
- Employee Relations: Record and track attendance, time-off requests, and other employee documentation, addressing and resolving employee conflicts with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Handle onboarding, terminations, recruitment, and benefits enrollment for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition for employees.
- Performance Management: Create Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and handle write-ups to maintain workplace standards and performance.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply management for all departments, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Administrative Support: Assist the Creative Director with administrative tasks and scheduling, providing exceptional support to the team.
- Employee Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for employees seeking assistance or information, providing timely and effective support.
- Confidentiality: Perform all responsibilities with a high level of confidentiality, maintaining the trust and confidence of employees and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Skills: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, as many warehouse employees are Spanish-speaking.
- Conflict Resolution: Strong conflict resolution skills, with the ability to resolve disputes in a fair and impartial manner.
- Industry Experience: Experience in a company of a similar size (approx. 65 employees), with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
