Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a leading media and entertainment company, is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Universal City, CA.
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist will provide end-to-end employee lifecycle support, including recruitment, onboarding, reward and benefits, training, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Work with hiring managers, HRM, and talent acquisition teams to identify and onboard top talent.
- Reward and Benefits: Collaborate with the central reward and benefits team to ensure new hires, adjustments, and changes in reward and benefits are handled efficiently.
- Training: Ensure all new employees fulfill training requirements and set up ad-hoc training sessions as needed.
- Employee Relations: Manage junior employee relations issues directly and provide coaching to supervisors and managers.
- Onsite HR Support: Serve as the main point of contact for HR-related matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience.
- 1+ year of recent LOA experience.
- HR Generalist with FMLA and Reasonable Accommodations experience required.
- Strong understanding of California's leave laws and regulations.
