Job Summary
Description:

A Commercial Roofing Foreman is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of roofing projects on time and within budget. This role involves managing and monitoring the workload of crews, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the activities of roofing crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Monitor and control the quality of work to ensure it meets company standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Develop and implement plans to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Train and develop apprentices in the trade of commercial roofing
  • Manage paperwork and administrative tasks related to projects

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass pre-hire physical and pre-hire drug screen
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Minimum experience as a journeyman roofer for a period of 2 years
  • Valid Driver's License with no restriction
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying outdoor climate conditions for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in English
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish beneficial
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leadership
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
