Job Summary

Upson Company is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Foreman to join our team. As a Commercial Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of commercial roofing projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the activities of roofing crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and control the quality of work, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Lead and motivate the roofing crew to achieve project goals, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work in progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation of work completed, materials used, and labor hours.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a journeyman roofer or in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
