Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Field Service Foreman to join our team at Upson Company. As a key member of our maintenance and repair division, you will be responsible for conducting field operations in a leadership role, utilizing the latest technology to communicate with customers and our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of roofers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and direct productivity, set priorities, goals, and timelines for projects.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage workload, preplan equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Train and develop apprentices in the trade of commercial roofing.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer service with new and established customers.
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire physical and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor climate conditions.
  • Ability to lift, reach, and maneuver supplies and ladders up to 50 pounds.
  • Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a journeyman roofer.
  • OSHA 10 hour course, Manlift, Forklift, and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Team-oriented with ability to excel in a team environment.
