Job Description

Job Summary

Upson Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to join our team. As a Commercial Roofing Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of commercial roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage roofing crews to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect work in progress and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that projects meet their expectations.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a journeyman roofer or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing roofing projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or business administration.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with project management software and other construction technology tools.
