Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Assistant to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a engaging and enriching experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing resident-centered activities and programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure that all activities and programs meet the highest quality standards and are aligned with the company's mission and values.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and schools to secure volunteer support and resources for activities and programs.
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as activity planning, volunteer management, and resident-centered care.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a senior living community or a related field.
  • Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members to participate in social events and scheduled activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and resident satisfaction.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
