Job Overview:
The Percussion Ensemble Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding student participants towards achieving excellence in performance. This position involves overseeing student behavior during events and ensuring a structured and supportive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert advice to students on the skills necessary for effective performance.
  2. Supervise and manage student conduct during ensemble activities.
  3. Oversee the organization and administration of the percussion ensemble.
  4. Create a positive and enriching learning atmosphere for all participants.
  5. Plan and coordinate seasonal activities in alignment with district policies.
  6. Take charge of scheduling and preparing the venue for events, collaborating with the Student Activities Office.
  7. Perform additional duties as required.
Specific Duties:
  1. Ensure compliance with all relevant league rules and district policies.
  2. Assist in the recruitment and evaluation of assistant advisors as needed.
  3. Implement safety measures to protect students and equipment, including emergency action plans.
  4. Advise on the procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.
  5. Maintain discipline and promote sportsmanship among participants.
  6. Attend and lead all related ensemble activities.
Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in percussion activities.
  2. Familiarity with the district's Student Activity and Athletic Code.
  3. Understanding of relevant policies regarding student conduct.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Capability to follow directives and work collaboratively.
  7. Commitment to enhancing student engagement in co-curricular activities.
  8. Physical ability to fulfill essential job functions.
Compensation:
Compensation will be determined in accordance with the established agreements.
