Position Summary: We are in search of a dynamic and motivated Aftermarket Sales Executive with a proactive approach to business development. Reporting to the Vice President of Aftermarket, the ideal candidate will cultivate enduring relationships with key clients, seek out new business prospects, and drive profitability for CPM Century Extrusion. This role necessitates travel ranging from 30% to 50%, both internationally and domestically, with flexible working arrangements available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with current clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for CPM's aftermarket services, including audits, repairs, and rebuilds.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance sales and profitability.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to support the company's growth and investment initiatives.
  • Engage actively in sales meetings to promote collaboration and understanding.
  • Prepare and present weekly sales reports, expense reports, budgets, and action plans to align with company expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Proactive Sales Approach: Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong grasp of industry principles, particularly in chemistry and engineering.
  • Sales Experience: A minimum of 3 years in Industrial Sales is required, with a preference for candidates experienced in the aftermarket sector.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree is mandatory, ideally in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Capacity to think critically and resolve issues effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficient in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, TEAMS, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel 30%-50% of the time.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office setting, with options for remote work.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin, or German is advantageous.
