Job Summary

The Administrative Specialist II will provide administrative support to the Director or Senior Director of the Department of Outpatient Psychiatry. This role will involve a combination of administrative, project, and secretarial work, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director or Senior Director, including scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with project coordination, including planning, organizing, and implementing projects.
  • Perform secretarial duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Work with Excel spreadsheets and Outlook, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in an administrative support role preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with all Microsoft Office suite products.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
