Your Role in Driving Success
We are excited to offer a full-time, licensed 2-20 Account Manager position that presents numerous opportunities for professional growth. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our most significant and intricate client accounts on a daily basis.
- Enhance business retention by fostering and strengthening relationships with both existing and prospective clients within your designated portfolio.
- Assess risk requirements through a thorough analysis of coverages, exposures, and historical loss data. Implement necessary actions to secure appropriate coverage, including re-marketing when necessary.
- Engage in negotiations with underwriters and insurance carriers.
- Prepare and distribute insurance summaries, proposals, and binders.
- Address client inquiries regarding products and services by swiftly diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to promote additional coverage, thereby enhancing client retention and relationship management.
- Support marketing efforts for new business and renewals as needed.
- Manage daily client inquiries and policy servicing, including policy changes, endorsements, and contract reviews.
- Serve as the primary contact for Customer Service Assistants, guiding them on inquiry handling and workload distribution.
- Assist the Agency Manager in the recruitment, selection, and training of new team members.
- Provide expert insurance consultation and insights to the Agency Manager.
- Participate in client meetings as required.
- Stay informed about industry trends and evolving coverages, including attending insurer networking events.
Essential Qualifications
Success in this role requires a Florida 2-20 General Lines License in good standing and a minimum of three years of experience in the commercial insurance sector. Additional insurance designations such as AAI, CIC, CPCU, or similar certifications are highly valued, along with familiarity with AMS360.
