Role Summary
As the Commercial Insurance Account Executive, your primary duty will be to engage with our clients to ensure their satisfaction with their insurance solutions. This role will involve conducting comprehensive evaluations of current policies to verify they meet the clients' needs effectively.

Key Duties
  • Work collaboratively with the sales department to identify optimal coverage solutions for client accounts
  • Maintain effective communication through calls and emails regarding policy questions, renewals, and new business opportunities
  • Utilize the agency management system efficiently while keeping precise records
  • Perform market analysis for both new and renewal business accounts
  • Independently oversee a specific portfolio of business, including endorsements, policy modifications, and documentation
  • Support workflow management to guarantee timely task completion
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid 440 Insurance License
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial underwriting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Valid 220 Insurance License
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the commercial underwriting sector
Additional Competencies
  • Experience in a Commercial Department within an independent agency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and AMS360 software
Work Environment
This position is situated in a professional office environment equipped with standard office tools and resources, including computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional overtime and participation in weekend events may be required.

Travel Requirements
Travel expectations for this position are minimal, with occasional participation in local events.
