Job Overview

Position: Human Resources Generalist (experience in legal sector preferred)

Compensation: Up to $90,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll and manage timekeeping for personnel
  • Oversee recruitment initiatives, including candidate evaluation and onboarding
  • Manage employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions

  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations and maintain accurate records

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of recent HR experience
  • Experience in HR within a legal firm in at least one of the last three years is essential
  • Comprehensive HR skills, including payroll management, recruitment, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services setting is advantageous
  • Knowledge of California labor laws is preferred
