Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Licensed Optical Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and positive experience for all patients, customers, colleagues, and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients and customers receive a personalized and professional experience.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue growth by effectively communicating the value of our products and services.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless execution of operational and procedural processes, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Optical Sales Manager and other team members to achieve personal and store goals.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, including the latest eyewear trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Licensure: Must be a licensed optician as required by state.
- Skills and Qualifications: Optical/Retail skills preferred; sales ability to connect with customers, uncover their needs, recommend items based on their needs, and educate the customer on their purchases; polished and professional communication and customer-centric service skills; ability to use POS and computer systems; capable of working with and servicing diverse people; self-motivation, action-oriented, and a creative problem solver open to feedback and learning; reliability and punctuality in attendance; flexibility for scheduling, and ability to work weekends, select holidays, and special sales events.
