About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department, troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
  • Develop new business opportunities by identifying prospective customers and leveraging market intelligence databases.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Drive motor vehicles to existing customers and prospects to ensure product delivery.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry or culinary experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold calls to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability and organization and negotiation skills.
  • Team-oriented mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management tools.
