About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Verkada. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and revenue expansion in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and Close New Business: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Verkada's products and their place in the industry.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, including hosting online demos, creating proposals, and negotiating contracts.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting to ensure timely and effective sales execution.
  • Goal-Oriented Performance: Aggressively exceed sales goals through outbound phone calls, emails, online demos, and trials every quarter.
  • Customer Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers and channel partners, providing valuable insights and guidance to drive business success.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with Channel Partners & Technical Support to ensure smooth launches and fuel future product growth, and provide market/client feedback to Verkada's product/engineering team.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity.
  • Communication Skills: Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and deliver strong presentations.
  • Dynamic Environment: Thrive in a dynamic, competitive, and fast-paced startup environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in Salesforce is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivation.
