Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at The Westin Tampa Waterside. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and that the front desk area is maintained to a high standard.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language to ensure that all needs are met.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and professional manner, using your problem-solving skills to find solutions that meet the needs of all parties involved.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently, and that all guests receive a high level of service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
  • Experience: One year experience in customer service in hospitality or a similar industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform behind the front desk, with the ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
