About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Laboratory Manager to join our team at Dental Metrics Maven. As a key member of our Fixed Department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dental technicians to deliver high-quality products and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of dental technicians to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Develop and implement quality control processes to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to build trust and loyalty.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Fixed Department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure that the department has the necessary resources to meet customer demands.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that the department remains competitive and innovative.
    • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
    • Collaborate with other departments to share knowledge and best practices.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
      • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
    • Skills and Abilities
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
      • Knowledge of dental laboratory procedures, materials, and equipment.
    • Work Environment
      • Work in a well-ventilated area with exposure to chemicals, dust, and other hazardous materials.
      • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
      • Work in a team environment with regular communication and collaboration with colleagues.
