ATR International is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Operations Coordinator to support critical laboratory functions.

Role Overview: The Laboratory Operations Coordinator is tasked with overseeing and optimizing the laboratory's tools, equipment, and resources. This position encompasses equipment oversight, inventory control, compliance audits, and the facilitation of efficient lab operations. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the collection, tracking, and management of testing equipment and tools. Maintain comprehensive records of equipment usage for maintenance, calibration, and retirement.
  • Coordinate both internal and external calibration processes, maintaining clear communication with calibration teams.
  • Manage the inventory of laboratory instruments, ensuring accurate labeling and record-keeping.
  • Strategically plan and allocate laboratory resources, including monitoring hardware and software statuses.
  • Procure laboratory supplies and manage capital equipment, including logistics for shipping and receiving.
  • Conduct routine audits to verify compliance and organization within the laboratory.
  • Perform safety and environmental assessments to identify and address potential issues.
  • Enhance team efficiency by maintaining and updating the Fixture-Gage Database, identifying any discrepancies.
  • Optimize the use of laboratory and storage spaces to ensure effective operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and laboratory operations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with laboratory management software and tools such as Jira, Maximo, or Excel.
  • Knowledge of IQ/OQ/CQ processes.
  • 3+ years of experience in laboratory or equipment management.

Essential Skills:
